geeeez man. i've totally neglected my blog. how can i ever be the next, great american blogger when i take long blogging breaks? well not much has been goin on. mostly working on work-school is forever right now, its going to make me crazy.
but something did bring a much needed smile to my face. i'm looking forward to this in a big way.

where the wild things are! i've been seeing a lot of mixed reviews about it honestly...which i really don't understand. it excites me that the wild things are puppet like and don't seem overly digitally enhanced. bonus points: karen o & arcade fire on board for the music!!! aahhhhhh! spike jonze!!!
apparently, the first round of this scared the shit out of kids. so a lot had to be reshot. but just looking at the trailer and thinking about the the wild things-and those beautiful illustrations that made up one of the coolest children's books of all time-i am completely stoked.
